Makers Mark.
Working with Love&Squalor, a slow fashion designer in Glasgow.
Working with the brand Love&Squalor a slow fashopn designer based in Glasgow, I created a new experience which gave Love&Squalor the oppertunity to collaborate with another makers to show of their products.
MakersMark is a monthly scheme that bring Love&Squalor together with other makers to amplify the characteristics of the clothing - sustainable, durable and hard-wearing- that Love&Squalor produces. Every month a maker will be gifted on of L&S garments to wear while they are working, pictures will be taken and added to the the Makersmark section of the website. The page will have images of the maker in a L&S garment and information on who the maker is and what they make, this will show the quality of the garments as costumers will be able to see them in use but it will also help L&S to create a new community of makers. To also help build this community, customers will be able to buy a product from the Maker featured that month.
To make this mock up of MakersMark I worked with Jen from Wild Gorse Pottery. it was great to get her feedback from the idea and look at how her clothes reflected what she was making and I really wanted to get this across in the imagery I used.
